Funeral Assistance and Bereavement
The Funeral and Bereavement Team helps families to prepare the Funeral Mass or Service and put together the Order of Service booklet when one is wanted. We can also help prepare the funeral with individuals who want to do that, so their family don’t have to worry and so that their wishes can be known.
If requested, we can provide a cuppa and some simple food in the foyer after the funeral. This service only works when there is time between the Mass/Service and the cemetery booking when a burial is desired. It can generally work with a cremation when the family isn’t going to the crematorium.
When appropriate, we also can visit to support the family before and after a death. The purpose of the group is to journey with and support families and individuals during a difficult time.
